Currently Working with Syntel Inc as Analyst Programmer/ETL Designer for an Insurance client with overall experience of 5 years and 5 moths in design of ETL Flow and creating accelerators that would enhance the RAD model .
Earlier worked as a Senior Software Engineer with Accenture India for where I was responsible for multiple modules of the same client.

Project Description:
A key initiative of the Enterprise Data Strategy is the implementation of a single, consolidated view of policy data from across Policy Administration systems - The Policy MDM (Master Data Management).
The scope of this is ALL policy data across the enterprise, including all brands, all channels, and all products. The use of an abstraction layer, or format for the output (off ramp) that is common between the current PIM (Policy Information Management) and the future Policy MDM will minimize the changes experienced by consuming systems when the transform to Policy MDM is done.
Below process is followed -
a.Load the AC-XML provided into Policy MDM (PIM and the DataHub)
b.Extract data from the Encompass system and form an AC-XML and load it into the Policy MDM
c.Extract data from the PIM and provide an AC-JSON file to the ARMS system (HDFS Data Nodes).
d.Create Hive table and queries for Unit testing

Travelers decided to go with the one ETL tool (i.e. - Abinitio) on the enterprise wide. Travelers had many systems using the datastage as ETL tool. This project had to do a technical conversion from datastage as ETL tool to Abinitio.
