United States Army - 1997 to Present
Management: Led the Army’s largest aviation maintenance company of 338 personnel with 14 direct
reports from each of the sections of the production facility. Managed numerous multimillion dollar air-
craft maintenance projects simultaneously, with a 97% on time completion rating. Implemented lean
concepts that improved efficiencies in the aviation maintenance company by 8%. Completed a complex
contract maintenance personnel restructuring resulting in a $15.4M savings to the government. Demon-
strated flexibility by concurrently managing several multi-million dollar projects, systems, and person-
nel across the breadth of our geographic area of responsibility while providing situational awareness to
senior commanders. Remotely managed geographically dispersed teams that provided invaluable sup-
port to all levels of command.
Operations & Logistics: Primary aviation logistics advisor to the Deputy Division Commander in
Afghanistan responsible for daily tracking and reporting of 729 aircraft from all four branches. Respon-
sible for the diligent administration of a $5.4M training budget, a $3.4M property budget, controlling the
procurement of durable and expendable items, as well as asset accountability of over $144M in aviation

assets. A recognized expert in planning and executing operations with 100% accuracy and success, in-
cluding the scheduling and movement of hundreds of personnel and the timely transfer of hundreds of
millions of dollars worth of equipment to support and maintain operations - all under extreme stress
conditions in austere environments. Resourced multiple aviation maintenance teams concurrently that
provided over 28,000 man hours of timely support to customers during combat operations in 2013. Ex-
perienced success with no accidents or incidents through effective safety programs and the utilization of
preventive maintenance on equipment.
Leadership Development: Developed and implemented a mentorship and leadership development pro-
gram for 14 subordinate managers that was recognized for excellence. Fostered a climate of teamwork
by cultivating cross functional teams that represented the organization throughout our area of responsi-
bility. Presented monthly professional development, team building, and management seminars for sub-
ordinates and peers. Developed a leadership development program that assisted in the promotion of
several subordinates. As the senior human resources officer, supervised the tracking and managing for
the career progression of 759 Soldiers. Allocated and scheduled professional development schooling
opportunities for all subordinate commands. Approached by other organizations to “train the trainer” in
the implementation of a leadership development program.
Training & Policy Development: Developed the theater wide aviation drawdown plan for Afghanistan
utilized as we executed a full withdrawal of combat troops in country successfully retrograding 256 he-
licopters and 14,000 personnel. Responsible for upgrading training curriculum and methods, cross-
trained personnel in job duties resulting in lower supervision requirements, higher quality assurance rat-
ings, and a significant cost savings in overtime. Established an online Training and Development data-
base utilized by all subordinate managers to meet all Army requirements. Administered a $1.5M train-
ing budget to ensure fully trained personnel were available to complete all aspects of our mission pro-
file. Acted as the senior facilitator for training workshops throughout the organization. Organized from
initiation an effective Civil-Military Affairs office at an Aviation Brigade and developed a Public Affairs
strategy after receiving significant training at the Peace Operations Training Center in Jordan which in-
cluded intensive interviews with Al Jazeera.
