[United Notions]

Wrote a mobile application (Windows Phone 6.5) for an Enterprise sales management for United Notions. The Motorola M75® device was utilized to scan (bar code) and search an on-board Microsoft SQLCE database. All coding was done in C# and OpenNETCF and PrinterCE external components were implemented into the solution.

[Hosea Feed The Hungry]

Handheld application written to check-in volunteers at all events. Confirmation code / bar code based system communicated via WAP to .NET Webservices to manage attendance statistics & aid in volunteer needs assessments.

(1st project) Utilizing our governments database of Immigrants, Refugees, Parolees, Asylees and other non-classifiable individuals imported to the U.S., myself along with 1 assistant employee of the government created an ASP 3.0 application with a VB-COM architecture (SQL 7.0 backend) that not only became a system to distribute TB & HIV Information to Quarantine Stations in our nations Airport stations, but it also set the precedent for future applications using SDN technology. My task also included mentoring ASP to the government employees who were junior to the skill set.

(2nd project) Having being transferred to a Birth Defects center for a portion of the project within the government, my new task included analyzing current applications and data structure for the migration of all applications to .Net technologies (portal). Examples include moving birth defects survey information from VB 6.0 application accessing the information via ODBC with a Microsoft Access backend to a VB.Net application (intranet portal).

Duties included Data Conversions (mainframe legacy data layouts: ASCII text/COBOL dumps, etc to FoxPro, Oracle 8I-PL/SQL, Access, SQL Server), and the development of computer interfaces designed to pass hospital data between different types of systems, residing on diverse hardware and software platforms. Protocols include TCP/IP, HL7, and other proprietary formats. Other consulting engagements include development of IVR systems, and billing inquiry systems.

Assembled the architecture for Lexington Medicals already standing imaging and workflow system, and provided stateless pages to wireless radiology and pathology systems using ASP, and serving the images via a Oracle 7.3(radiology), and SQL Server (pathology) backend, cued by a Jukebox with images of patients records that were indexed in a previous system. The system worked in conjunction with a Filenet system for the larger images. All logic was written in VB components and assembled on the server used as the wireless access unit within the hospital.

I along with the help of many of their data processors (6) managed this company with no formal IT department, and put 90% of its daily processes into automated tasks. My task included managing as well as developing the product. Examples include a user less workflow application that retrieved its data from contracts written in an Excel spreadsheet that contained information from the Sales force team. The contracts final format was an Adobe PDF.

Designed a topographical application that interfaced with a custom BellSouth phone (LAN line) and allowed for customer service supervisors to rate their representatives by using the text within the application as a guide, and the keypad on the telephone to represent the representatives score on a 1-10 scale. I managed / designed / developed the project for subcontracting company. The data collected from the application was to be warehoused in multiple formats (Oracle 8I-PL/SQL & SQL Server 7.0, 2000). OLAP was used to determine patterns or for advanced analytical analysis of data after it was collected (statistics). Utilized VB6, SQL Server, Oracle and custom ActiveX controls

This B2B Company with clients such as Wal-Mart, Target, etc constructed a vision of a consistent GUI interface style application to handle any B2B processing requested by their client. All GUI’s were ASP forms, with an Oracle or Informix backend. All data was process via SSL and transmitted via a secure data (T1) to each client. These 2 companies merged into one, and eventually took all of their products to a single sign on interface with Oracle as the backend and VB-COM/MSMQ/MTS as the architecture (4-tier). All prior formats were SQL SVR 6.5, Sybase, Foxpro, and Informix. Microsoft SNA Server (now Microsoft Host Integration Server), Microsoft OLE DB Provider for AS/400 and VSAM was utilized also.
