Newman Memorial Hospital

Responsible for all aspects of financial operations at the hospital. In addition I have assisted the

CEO in educating the staff and Board of Directors of the changes necessary to transition to a

Critical Access Hospital.

Rock Prairie Hospital

Assisted in the interim transition of the finance department providing accounting and patient

accounting advice and services to hospital as they were finding a full time financial employee.

Rolling Hills Hospital

Full responsibility for all accounting functions and bottom line performance of Rolling Hills

Hospital (RHH) a 60 Bed Acute Psychiatric hospital, located in Ada, Oklahoma. Rolling Hills is

a wholly owned subsidiary of Acadia Healthcare of Franklin, TN. As part of the senior

management actively worked on the expansion of RHH from 44 beds to 60 beds to include the

transition, also of a 14 Bed Adolescent unit. Currently RHH is expanding to include 32

Adolescent Group Home beds. During the previous year guided the hospital to a 25.6 margin

percentage up from 19.6 in the previous year.

March – 2009 - April 2011

Chief Financial Officer-

Ohio Hospital for Psychiatry

Full responsibility for all accounting functions and bottom line performance of OHP a 68 Bed

Acute Psychiatric hospital. As part of the senior management progressively worked on

transitioning OHP from a primarily Adolescent RTC facility to a full service Acute Psychiatric

hospital. Also responsible for a 16 Bed leased Facility and the financial operations of a large

physician clinic.

Wellmont Health Systems – Kingsport TN May 2005 – March 2009

Hawkins County Memorial Hospital (HCMH)

& Hancock County Hospital (HCH)

Full responsibility for bottom line performance of HCM 60 Bed Acute Care hospital. HCMH

generates over $22 million of Net Revenue with a budgeted EBIDTA of 10 %. As part of the

senior management continually work on growth strategies to strengthen HCMH’s position in

their market. HCH is a 25 Critical Access hospital located in Sneedville, TN. I have helped to

begin to develop a primary care clinic at the hospital, to help provide a better continuum of care.

Lonesome Pine Hospital (LPH)

& Jenkins Community Hospital (JCH)

Full responsibility for bottom line performance of LPH a 60 Bed Acute Care hospital. LPH

generates over $32 million of Net Revenue with a budgeted EBIDTA of 6 %. As part of the

senior management continually work on growth strategies to strengthen LPH’s position in their

market. JCH is a 25 Critical Access hospital located in Jenkins, KY. I have helped to begin to

develop a primary care clinic at the hospital, to facilitate the provision of a better continuum of

care for the Community.

System Controller – 5/05- 7/07

Wellmont Health System – Corporate Office

Responsible for operations of the centralized Finance Department, including Accounting,

Accounts Payable, Payroll and Financial Reporting. Wellmont Health System net revenue is

approximately $ 750 million dollars. The system is comprised of eight hospitals, a 100 +

Physician practice, an In-house Collection Agency and other ancillary operations.

Responsibilities included the supervision and coordination of the closing of all entities books on

a monthly basis and the coordination of year end audits.

St Claire’s Medical Center- August 2002 – May 2005

Samaritan Hospital

Lexington, KY

Responsible for operations of the HIM, Case Management, Information Systems, Patient Billing

Reporting. Samaritan was a 160 bed hospital including a 24 Bed SNF unit and a 31 Bed Psych

unit; it included a Home Health Agency and a managed Rural Health clinic. Responsibilities

included the supervision and coordination of the closing of monthly books and the coordination

of reporting with division and corporate departments. Reporting included the supervision of 26

staff.
