Today, Default Management in SunTrust as it occurs within the Mortgage and Retail Lending lines of business involves multiple, un-integrated applications. To combat the manual handoffs and other issues related, the vendor E Mason's application Clarifire is used to provide the solution for the above issues, by implementing all these requirements in it and providing the data from SunTrust to support it. The Data transfer from SunTrust Bulk data extract involves data mapping and different transform rules. And it requires a data mapping document in ETL template where Ab initio tool will be used to implement the data transmission to Clarifire system.

Responsibilities

Documentation of the key components of the application with process flow diagrams.

Working with the MSP Subject matter experts to gather the system and ETL mapping requirements.

Analyze the MSP data available in Passport and the Mortgage data available in BDEdatabase to arrive at data fields require for the E Mason Clarifire team in default loans processing.

Relationship Profitability Management System, or RPMS, is the SunTrust customer profitability system for the Commercial, Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) lines of business. Currently this system is on a Mainframe platform consisting of about 100 COBOL programs and around 50 JCLs. This needs to be converted to ETL Abinitio tool for the back end and .net applications for the front end of this system. It consisted of three phases, documentation of the existing system programs, Knowledge transfer to ETL team about the requirements gathered and development of those requirements in Abinitio leading to testing activities and production install.

Mortgage Lending Control system is primarily used by SunTrust Banks - Mortgage for originating, processing and closing loans. Minor enhancements to this system happen on a monthly basis, based on changes in the Business user requirements and changes in the government Bank policies and regulations. And there will be a monthly install to the system which includes numerous install support activities. The JCL jobs, Batch cycle runs on nightly basis and consists of about 100 jobs and issues like job failures delay in jobs execution, et all needs to be addressed.

Responsibilities

Working with the Business folks and Subject matter experts to gather the MLCSsystem enhancement requirements

Collect, interpret, and distill customers' business requirements into clear specifications and other product/application development artifacts using tools likeRational Requisite Pro and MS Visio.
