EXPERIENCE

2014 – Present

Manager of IT with responsibility for aspects of IT including but not limited to IT infrastructure and networks, Payroll interfaces, system and building security.

Helped plan for server upgrades, looking to virtualize the PC servers moving from several stand along servers to a single virtual server with a backup. Upgrade the IBM i to a new server. Upgrade the desktop PC’s moving from windows XP to windows 7 with plans to move many the desktops to clients on the server to help with system updates. Plan for and starting to implement network upgrade from 10/100 to 1G as time and budget allows.

Implemented the web portal functions of the Harris Data Software

Implement a full testing environment within the ERP software

Setup for the server for the next version of the ERP and set plans to start migrating in 2015.

Eliminated many of the hand delivered paper reports changing them to email delivered PDF documents.

Created new iSeries application that integrated with the System 21 ERP that helped control the reconditioning of cell phones. This application tracked the phone from time it is received to finial disposition and tracked components used to repair the phone for billing and reporting to the manufactures. This application also interfaced with the ERP to assist in automated billing as required by the manufacturers
