Support and analyzes batch process/jobs in Control-M and Mainframe environment. Support testing batch jobs with application code, debugs and documents batch process to satisfy business requirements. Responsible for Batch Scheduling implementation, analyzing security event logs, monitoring the network operations center, mainframe and Control-M job flows. Management of Teradata backup jobs and worked with Server, Network and Database teams in updating Site scope Alerts for various systems. Process batch jobs in Mainframe environment and monitor multiple consoles including the networks environment, tape libraries/ silos, media/backup and restore. Monitoring and analyzing security event logs of the network operations center and escalate issues/ concerns to the appropriate support. Updates customer/vendor (IBM, HP, EMC, FILTEK, SUN) profile in a secured database environment and authorize access into the Data Center. Responsible for batch cycle processing in a multiplatform mainframe environment and communicates alerts to support and upper management regarding batch processing, network device failures, applications and operating systems issues and assists with counter-measures. Schedule and run production jobs in JOBTRAC, MAESTRO, BAAN and monitoring the batch cycle including CICS regions. Analyze and extract data-driven content using Excel / Access. Using Windows Active Directory to monitor and control system access to users and apply password protections to windows, UNIX and mainframe users. Restrict users to running specific applications and control internet usage while imposing a variety of access restrictions to protect company’s privacy and stop others from tempering with pc’s and log files. Print special reports and generate PID labels for auto and motor vehicle identification numbers. Execute nightly backups including the master backup on the NETBACKUP/ TERADATA server.

Data center operations as applied to Mainframe, tapes and print devices. Scheduling and monitoring mainframe production jobs, Tape backups and relays information to programmers and technical support for identification and resolution of problems related to software and hardware. Initializing tapes for media backups and supported 18 STK silos, 4 VTS libraries and numerous OS390 stand-alone drives running on multiple platforms.
