Duties & Responsibilities

Search upcoming project bid reports such as Datafax, Dodge, Reed, construction digest and make a decision as to which projects to bid on, order plans and specifications, send ITB to vendors and subcontractors.

Read project documents and specifications, identify bid items and prepare quantity takeoff for estimates from plans through means of computerized take –off or manual methods.

Request Bid Bond, obtain bids from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials, identify qualified subcontractors and negotiate prices.

Prepare Cost Estimate, Bid Proposal and finalize the bid documents for submission.

Managing projects including working with owner/clients, architects and engineers.

Prepare material PO and Subcontracts, coordinate material requisition, field operations and manage schedules, attend project meetings.

Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

Identify project resources required for the project based on the scope of work.

Responsible for the coordination and development of project schedule and schedule updates, budgets and cost reports.

Manage the project to the approved project budget and scope and change orders.

Technical knowledge and experience of Heavy & Highways, Bridges, WWTP, Environmental construction techniques.
