Assistant to the President, 1999 to 2015 - Fairleigh Dickinson University

Managed the Office of the President on the Metropolitan Campus and providing guidance to the Office of the President on the Florham Campus. Job assignments included setting job priorities, scheduling and insuring adherence to policies and procedures, provided diversified support for the President, the University Provost and SVAA, and the Senior Executive Assistant to the President and the Executive Vice President.

Provided continuous advanced support to the senior members of the Office of the President, administration, and including the friends of the University.

Primary business scheduler and social scheduler for the President, for all appointments on and off the Florham Campus and Metropolitan Campus, including making all travel arrangements for the President as required and also being proactive to reschedule any appointments at the time when conflicts occur whether it is with colleagues within the University or friends of the University.

Answered telephones, greeted and announced visitors, with appropriate diplomatic screening and; or providing assistance with updates when the President or senior members of the Office of the President are detained.

Prepared purchase orders, check requests, supply requisitions for approval, and keenly monitored the President’s Office budget.

Traveled to the Florham Campus to assist in the Office of the President when needed.

Organized all protocols for the participants of the Platform Party at the University Commencement Ceremony, including but not limited to the Official Post Luncheon.

Responsible for ceremonial robing room attendees for Photos with the President and Honorees.

Assisted in arranging university meetings relating to university partnerships with visiting dignitaries.

Took on a Leading role with the responsibilities related to the Office of the President for the Annual Academic Convocation Ceremony, including but not limited to the members of the faculty and staff participating in the Convocation Luncheon hosted by the Office of the President. Provided guidance to the work directly with the University Pillar Awardees and their guests.

Assisted with the Annual Board of Trustees Picnic and recognition of newly Tenured Faculty members.

Assisted with the Annual Employee Recognition Luncheon hosted by the Office of the President.

Assisted with the Annual New Jersey Speaker Series Events held at the NJPAC, Newark, NJ
