This project is to provide 24/7 support to IKEA B2B Infrastructure including webMethods administration and support. As a part of this maintenance project the entire webMethods environment is supported for IKEA by IBM.

We have both onsite and offshore team supporting 24/7. Support team need to track the webMethods issues using BMC Remedy Action Request System. WebMethods support team will be notified via Remedy ticketing system and mail about the issue and the support team resolves them based on Severity and Priority. IKEA and IBM together came with a SLA for various types of issues. The support team has to own and acknowledge a ticket if it is assigned to them and provide the resolution within the SLA. Apart from this support team has to administrate and maintain the webMethods 9.5 and webMethods 7.1.2 Dev, Test, Stage, pre-prod and Production environments. On wM7.1.2 having four tracks of (HR, FIN, CS and Supply) in which multiple SLA1, SLA2 and SLA3 applications/Interfaces are hosted in different environments. The same applications/Interface were migrated to webMethods 9.5 version along with new applications/Interfaces hosted on nine tracks.

The scope of SAP implementation includes a Global Design phase and then a rollout over many generations. The project is truly enterprise-wide and the effort includes all five major business segments in 42 countries, in 11 unique languages. Medtronic is one of the flagship projects for IGSI which was started way back in Jan ‘2004. Currently, we are approaching the 9th rollouts (Gen1, Gen2, Gen3 Gen9) and providing AMS supports for all the past 8 generations. Sony AMS is a support project from Sony Electronics Inc. As a part of AMS project the whole webMethods environment is supported for Sony Electronics. We have to administrate as well as provide 24/7 support to Sony webMethods interfaces. Currently Sony has webMethods 6.1 and webMethods 7.1 versions which integrate various applications and businesses of Sony and its partners.

Its main products will be like transformers, switches, controllers, magnetic circuit breakers and capacitors. This projects aims at integrating its Schneider's internal applications. This migration was taken up to replace existing legacy mainframe applications with new emerging technology like SAP XI. The communication between internal applications and webMethods and XI will be done by using web services. Mainly Publish and subscribe mechanism is the heart of this Project and webMethods broker is used. The file formats used are xml, flat file and EDI.

ESS was established in 2003, and has offices in Dallas, Hong Kong, London and New York .ESS services enable trade participants to reduce back-office and financing costs which improves supply chain visibility.

Engelhard currently maintains and distributes inventory from third party distribution centers worldwide. These distribution centers perform a variety of services and transactions independent of Engelhard’s systems requiring manual effort on the part of Engelhard resources.

Based on the information and results of the Satellite Warehouse Assessment, this project was recommended to develop and implement an electronic integration (EDI) solution connecting Engelhard to Third Party Warehouses representing large volumes of transactions. This would replace transactional activity performed by Engelhard CSR’s to Third Party Warehouse Management system.

Engelhard is the world's largest supplier of Forane, Fluor chemical-blowing agents for the rigid foam and other industries. Engelhard has an internal source of supply for pentanes.

The objective of this integration effort was to get Purchase Orders from their trading partners and update the PO information in their backend JD Edwards ERP system. Inbound purchase orders (EDI 850) are transformed into XML and the information is updated in the ERP system and Purchase Order Acknowledgement (855) is sent back to the partners.

Responsibilities:

Configured Trading Networks to send the data to different partners.

Installed TN document types for EDI document into webMethods Trading Networks.

Receive inbound 850 purchase order transaction data by communicating via FTP.

Super Valu is a grocery retailing industry with a combined expertise in grocery retail and supply chain. Super Valu operates 24 distribution centers in 17 states and manage the logistics for approximately one billion cases of grocery products and perishables from more than 500 manufactures to more than 4,000 retail end points. The data is stored in EDI, XML and Flat files. Basically the EDI Purchase order are pulled in form FTP which are sent by the customers. They are processed and loaded into the Oracle backend system.

Responsibilities:

Converted the incoming EDI, XML and Flat files into generic XML file and placed in a designated folder.

Transformed the data in XML file into Oracle running on Windows2000.

Responsible for configuring JDBC Adapter for accessing Oracle Database in Windows 2000.

Implemented the services to validate and process 810,820,850,855 Document.

Used EDI package for transformation of EDI data.
