EXPERIENCE:

Wells Fargo Chandler, AZ

Technical Project Manager IIII 01/12-05/15

For the duration of my time at Wells Fargo, I worked on the WISD (Wholesale Infrastructure Service Delivery) Team, ONIT (Office of Normalized Infrastructure Technology), as well as the TIS (Technology Infrastructure Solutions) team. I was brought in to “bridge the gap” between the most technical data center people, and the non-technical project managers. WISD is known for being one of the most demanding, fast paced, and critical IT depts. within Wells Fargo corporate. I was responsible for planning, managing, coordinating, and implementing multiple concurrent Data Center projects occurring predominantly in the UNIX/LINUX production environment, to include Solaris and other Database environments. My projects included implementation of new hardware, hardware migrations (Inf/network), annual patching cycles with emphasis on security compliance, Database repoints/patching/migrations, configuration of network devices (IP, subnet, gateway change etc.), and various other mission critical “production” activities. I worked heavily using Risk Based Remediation (RBR) with production environment changes and upgrades. I worked across many different lines of business, including Treasury, International Business, CEO, and Wholesale Markets. I also worked regularly with international teams and directors, to include Hong Kong, the UK, Singapore, and India. During my tenure at Wells Fargo I was able to, with my team mates successfully plan, drive, and complete initiatives and projects that had previously been impossible for the organization to conquer. I also created and implemented new processes to streamline work flow, and add value to current procedures.

I worked heavily in Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Copenhagen, and London. I was the international consultant for the company as it relates to Data Center subject matter expertise. I outlined and created iTRACS training curriculum, SOP’s, as well as best practices, and was part of the “brain trust team” present for international conferences discussing cutting edge Data Center technology and green solutions. As Data Center Engineer I traveled to data centers around the country to interface with the customer, as well as collect data, whether it is blueprints, network schematics, photographs or other data. I then converted this data into our system, in order to build a 3d model of the customers’ data center, allowing a holistic approach to management of power, space, and connectivity. I managed many projects, including our build out of eBay’s “Project Topaz” in SLC, one of the most advanced data centers to date. I also managed, and worked on projects with many large corporations, such as ESPN, RBS Citizens Bank, Tyco, Yahoo, Air Force Southern Command, and Denver Intl. Airport.
