May 1995 to April 2014

Florida State Prison Correctional Officer Starke, Florida I was responsible for the care, custody and control of inmates. While working as an Officer I was responsible for major reports documenting facts of incidents, sending reports to the Inspector General’s Office, Creating documents that generated and tracked injuries, allegations etc. I was the Emergency Operation Center Officer where I logged information into a statewide database during emergency situations such as hurricanes, escapes, executions, and so many other incidents. I was also the retentions officer where I audited files, ensured they were retained and stored in accordance with policy and procedure. I was issued several certificates and awards from Wardens and higher officials from Tallahassee for my quick response in emergency situations. Recognized as Officer of the month on several occasions. I was also issued the ACA award for having a high score during the State Audit.
