I also have extensive experience in creating health education materials using many different forms of media including: Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Publisher, Adobe Acrobat, and Adobe Captivate.

For the last six years, I have been the sole proprietor of 2 Brothers Appliance and it has kept me from being able to work in the healthcare field. The business is now well established and has the proper personnel in place to allow me to step away from my managerial duties with the exception of an occasional signature. I am now entirely confident that I can devote my full attention to a full-time nurse practitioner position. Although I have been out of the field for quite some time, I have been refreshing my memory for the past three months with great success. I am highly intelligent and a very quick learner. For example, I attained my ANCC certification nine months after graduating and only had to study for nine days, five hours at a time. Another great example of my work ethic and ability to learn quickly, is that I was able to complete an accelerated nursing program while running my newly established business.
