Maintenance support and ‘work order’ detail engineering as Project Engineer for Upgrading & Utilities at Horizon project – Prepared Expenditure Project Approval for cost estimate and feasibility, issued and championed MOC in JDE and hazard analysis for SIS systems for smooth operation of the Plant.

Maintenance and Reliability Engineering for Upgrading Base Plant that includes Cokers, Gas Recovery Unit, Vacuum Recovery Unit, Hydrotreaters (Naphtha, Kero, Gasoil, Diesel), Sulphur Recovery Unit, Vapor Recovery Unit, Flare system, Condensate system, Hydrogen unit and utilities including Tank gauging systems. Performed troubleshooting of instruments and provided support.

Upgraded field instruments, control valves and DCS with the latest and reliable technology for Coker Furnaces & Drums, Compressors, Fractionators, Tank gauging, Gas detectors and prepared winterization list of instruments and checked steam/electrical trace in field.

Investigated incidents, maintained industry standards and codes, prepared Preventive Maintenance procedure and Check Lists for instruments along with HAZOP and risk review.

Supervised all field maintenance activities and schedule requirements and emerging risks are appropriately assessed in compliance with all identified regulatory requirements.

420 KTA Ethylene Plant of Haldia Petrochemicals and 720 MTA Ethylene & Polypropylene plant of RPL at Hazira, India.

Detail engineering of C&I of Naphtha Cracker Plant having ABB Lummus Boilers, restriction orifice sizing, heat tracing and cable duct layout and commissioned the Plant integrated with Honeywell TDC3000 DCS (at Haldia) and ABB Infi-90 DCS (at Hazira) and reviewed FAT/SAT of DCS.

80 million US$ turnkey Fuel oil handling system of 430MW Combined Cycle Power Plant of NTPC at Faridabad, India

Erection, Calibration, trouble-shooting and commissioning of the process control instruments and engineered control logics for Siemen's S7 PLC.

Assignment to Egypt – 2 x 150MW & 2 x 300MW - C&I Up-gradation at Ataka TPP

Design & detail engineering of the C&I system of approx. 30 million US$ for up-gradation of the plant integrated to Ovation DCS of Westinghouse.

Commissioned the 150 MW unit and FAT/SAT test of DCS at vendor’s lab.
