Responsibilities: Sr. Backup Engineer using NetBackup 7.6.1 and SAN Administrator for Symantec including multiple sites worldwide. Storage administration duties include 24x7 on-call escalation support on multiple platforms including Hitachi, 3PAR and Promise Storage arrays. Provision LUNS for VMWare guest and physical servers including zoning and troubleshooting issues involving performance and availability.

Backup duties include daily administration of multiple environments. Perform critical restores when required. Enhance and improve the VMWare backup policies from tape to disk backups to utilize dedupe capabilities. Monitor and improve backup performance, and troubleshoot performance related issues.
