CAREER HISTORY

Warehouse Receiving Supervisor, Baxter from 2012 to present. Responsible for four warehouses, organize and direct activities encompassing warehousing receiving, transportation, and inventory control (physical counts and perform weekly cycle counts to verify outgoing orders ensuring that the associates followed proper procedures, warehouse receiving, and logistic strategies). Hire, train, and develop six warehouse employees (5 FTEs, 1 Temps); coordinate these activities to ensure efficient utilization of warehouse, transportation resources, and to optimize the flow of raw materials from warehouse locations to manufacturing floors include safety, quality, accountability teams, environmental focus that exceed key results. Ensure adherence of shipments and receipts to host country customs requirements and standard operating procedures. Ensure all new and current employees are properly trained.

Major Projects/Achievements:

Overtime – reduced over time from 45 hours to 11 hours per week by facilitating collaboration between Environmental Health and Safety, Engineers, certified Black Belts, and quality warehouse, and production management to derive a streamlined approach.
