Description: The Network Implementation and Certification (NIC) team performs development, testing and certification support for American Express (AXP) customers within WWCAS (Worldwide Credit Authorization System). When a new merchant, bank or a financial institution contracts to accept or Issue AXP cards, they are required to undergo certification through the NIC team for the authorization transaction messaging prior to launching their product or accepting AXP card transactions. When an existing merchant, bank or a financial institution contracts to add a new feature, they are required to undergo certification through the NIC team for the authorization transaction messaging prior to launching their product or service. As part of the certification processes, the NIC team ensures partner compliance to American Express message specifications and processing flows.

Assets business area covers online banking, direct credit, indirect credit, money laundry, mortgage, power of attorney, revolving credit, SCHUFA, store card and VISA card.
