Hello, my name is Gary Bolton. I have over ** years of experience working as a troubleshooter and mechanic in the field of utility power. During this time, I have gained a working knowledge as to the repair of diesel and gasoline engines. Using diagnostic software such as PoweSpec, ServiceMaxx, DLB, NED and other scanning tools has given me the ability to access fault codes and make repairs in the field like the replacement of fuel injectors, high pressure fuel pumps, EGR, EGR coolers, turbo’s, ICP switches, IPR valves, exhaust regen components and much more. I’m also experienced in brake, suspension, and drive train systems, (as well as small engines, power tools). In addition, I have extensive knowledge in the diagnostic and repair of hydraulic and electronic systems and their components. I possess certificates of training for the repair of Altec, Telelect and Teco equipment. I am also skilled in welding and fabrication, (mostly Stick and MIG. some TIG). I have all the tools and skills one would expect a mechanic with my years of experience to have. My goal as a Field Mechanic is to repair equipment on site keeping repair cost low and down time to a minimum while assuring a safe and operational fleet of equipment.
