Dear Personnel Director,

This is a brief description of my job duties at my employers starting with my present employment at Honda Manufacturing of Alabama where I have been employed since March 2007. I am currently a Equipment Service Associate at Line1 AF department. My current responsibilities include but are not limited to machine preventive maintenance,breakdown maintenance and repair as well as machine shop duties.

Prior to this I was employed by B.F. Goodrich Tire Mfg. where I was a powerhouse operator. My duties included but are not limited to maintaining and operating centrifical and reciprocal compressors to supply air to the plant for the production process. Also I operated and maintained gas or oil fired boilers to supply steam to the manufacturing facility for the production process. My past duties at this employer have been as a member of the construction crew where we installed and set-up machinery. A machinist, an electrician, as well as working in the various departments as a multi-skilled maintenance technician performing preventive maintenance as well as breakdown repairs. I started here July of 1992.

Prior to this employment I worked at Vermont American Corp where I started as a production employee as a gate grinder, I then bid into the plating room where I maintained all aspects of the nickel plating processes as well as the treatment of the wastewater from this operation. I then bid into the screw machine area where I set up and operated Brown and Sharp screw machines. I then progressed to the maintenance department after completing Machine Shop training and Industrial Electricity training at Opelika State Technical College. While in the maintenance department I worked as a machinist and multi skilled maintenance technician. Some of my duties as a machinist were tool and die maker, jig and fixture builder as well as repairing injection molds. And as a maintenance technician I performed various mechanical and electrical preventive maintenance and breakdown repair duties. I worked here from Sept. 1983 till March 1992.

My employment before this was the U.S. Army where I was a vehicle mechanic. This was directly after graduating high school in 1976.
