1.In the current landscape the SSO is set up using CA Siteminder where Independent ITS boxes are used. The CA Siteminder version is being upgraded to 12 along with this the independent ITS boxes has to be replaced with J2ee stacks.
2.There are custom applications built on sun JDK while SAP is upgraded from JVM 4.1(7.0) to JVM 6.1 (7.30), hence the compatibility of the JDK application with JVM 6.1 and recommendations
