Objective;

Seeking auto, truck, construction maintenance supervisor or service manager type position.

Accomplishments and goals;

I started and operated 2 automotive based businesses that were very profitable up till the time I sold them. Most of my employment career has been involved in the automotive, truck, construction industry involving sales, mechanical repair, body work, fleet maintenance, customer service, inventory control, and management of employees. I was the service manager in both of my businesses ; scheduling the work orders, motivating and directing the mechanics, and dealing with the customers .

Both of the business were successful which I contribute to proper direction and management.

My goal is getting back into the automotive/construction industry in a management type position because I enjoy the challenges involved.

Skills;

Excellent customer relations, management of employees, working with sub contractors, mechanical and building maintenance experience, working with budgets, computer knowledge including Quick Books and Microsoft programs, parts and inventory programs, and sales (auto, agriculture, commercial, industrial, RV, and marine).

Education;

Graduated high school ( Wynford High located in Bucyrus, Oh.) along with 2 years of technical college (Marion Technical College located in Marion, Oh.) majoring in business and mechanical design.

Extra education in business management, building and ground maintenance, low and high voltage electric, air conditioning, air brakes, hydraulics, gas and diesel engines, shipping/receiving, inventory control, human resources, C.A.M. license classes, OSHA courses, DOT training, Florida contractor license, and clean class A Commercial Drivers License.

Work Experience;

Independence Recycling of Florida from June 2013 to present. Position being held at present is listed as yard manager located in Jacksonville, Fl. Duties included are directing the flow of material into the yard and the loading of processed material back out of yard. Also responsible for building and yard maintenance along with scale operations.

Abbee Pavers LLC from Feb. 2008 to June 2013. This business was construction based which the position I held was owner/operator of the company. This was a restoration type of business using concrete brick pavers. I was in charge of day to day operations of the business including sales, scheduling of subcontractors, repair and purchase of equipment along with any other required duties.

Maple Leaf Estates from March 2005 to March 2011 located in Port Charlotte, Fl. My position was head of maintenance over equipment of both golf course and building. I would perform maintenance in order for equipment to work properly along with any other duties required. I worked this position until I built Abbee Pavers up to run on its own.

Waters Edge RV Resort August 2003 to March 2005. I was the park manager changing park over from private ownership to a resident owned park. I was overseeing daily operations of the park including maintenance, scheduling work for employees, invoicing and receiving payments along with sales of shares for lots. I worked under the direction of the board of directors.

East Harbor Marine Repair April 1995 to August 2003 located in Marblehead, Oh. I was the owner/operator of the business responsible for all operations of the business. I did all invoicing, scheduling repair orders for employees, plus repairing boats myself. I was also involved with purchasing used boats, repairing and cleaning them up in order to resell them for profit. Sold business to move to Florida.

Crawford Diesel August 1984 to April 1995 located in Bucyrus, Oh. I was the owner /operator of this automotive repair business. I had 4 to 5 mechanics under my supervision doing repair work on auto, trucks up to class 8,recreational vehicles, industrial equipment, farm, and construction equipment. The repair also include body work and repaints along with chassis change outs. I was responsible for all accounting, customer relations, scheduling, inventory control, ordering of parts, and employee supervision. Sold business out and started East Harbor Marine.
