Built-out turn-key systems in all Cobb County Schools which included all cameras, VoIP systems, AV and Access Control. Installed fiber optics drops to all classrooms so that they had their own network in each classroom. Build-out of the new data center building in Gwinnett County for Dell, revamped and installed new systems at Panasonic which included a XM/AM/FM conversion satellite system, along with new VoIP service to each of the 400 desktop users. Performed daily install, build-out and relocation moves in Cobb County, Coweta County and DeKalb County.

INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGER, COVERNETWORKS, LLC

June 2009- April 2012

Performed all on-site surveys and sales meetings with the clients to formulate a needs and analysis profile. Pulled, terminated and tested all telecommunications network cabling including fiber optics, VoIP systems, routers and phone systems. Build-out of Dish head ends to install Dish network to the customer base of cover networks. Revamped the entire network system for the condominiums above the Four Seasons in Atlanta by pulling in a new fiber optic backbone, installing a new layer 3 Cisco switch and installing new satellites on the ground floor. Built the infrastructure for the Towne Club retirement home in Peachtree City. Built the new geological building communications system at West Georgia. Designed and Implemented an AP solution for the Georgia dome project to accommodate cellular service.

May 1992-May 2009

Worked for the entire Treasury Department maintaining all telecommunication systems for such agencies as The U.S. Secret Service, ATF, U.S. Customs, IRS, The U.S. Mint and all bureaus that fell underneath these agencies. Worked on NOC’s on bases around the Washington D.C. area which including, but not limited to, Andrews AFB, Ft. McNair, Ft. Myer, Walter Reed and Ft. Meade. Coordinated all build-outs, moves/adds, relocations that took place in the Treasury department. Negotiated sales and integrated upgrades for antiquated systems in the Treasury Department. Scheduled 75 technicians to perform daily routine check-ups and maintenance of the entire network. Worked on multiple phone systems such as Nortel, Merridian and 5ESS systems. Surveyed new sites to be used for the relocation of government bureaus. Cultivated key relationships with vendors to receive up to the minute updates on new products that fit our client’s needs. Participated in all training on systems that were used in the Treasury Department.

Managed a territory in Maryland that consisted of federal and public businesses where I would do cold calls in the field on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday to help produce sells. Stayed in office on Tuesday and Friday to help generate new leads for the following week. Had a base salary of $25,000 and produced enough sells by the end of the year that I was salesman of the year with a net sales amount of over $500,000.00 in sales. Youngest salesman to be placed onto the government team selling high end copiers.
