FLUID MECHANICS

I have studied one course on the Fluid Mechanics. This is the major subject for Mechanical Engineering

in the professional field. I have studies in this subject about Fluid kinematics, Fluid dynamics, and

resolved problems using numerical methods. Nature of flow, Bernoulli equation and its application.

Movement of flowing fluid, and fluidization.

Most chemical processing applications are conducted either partially or totally in the fluid phase,

chemical engineers need a strong understanding of fluid mechanics. Such knowledge is especially

valuable for solving problems in the biochemical, chemical, energy, fermentation, materials, mining,

petroleum, pharmaceuticals, polymer, and waste-processing industries .

PETROLEUM REFINERY ENGINEERING

I have studied one course on the Petroleum Refinery Engineering. This is the major subject of Petroleum

Engineering in the professional field. I have studies in this subject about Origin, formation and

composition of petroleum, Processing of Crude Oil into Different products Like Gasoline, Kerosene, High

speed diesel etc. and the main steps involved in the processing of crude oil like Pre-heating,Desalting,

Secondary heating in heater/Furnace and Fractionation and distillation units etc. and also studied the

thermal and catalytic cracking and reforming.Petroleum refinery is an industrial process plant where

crude oil is processed and refined into more useful products such as petroleum naphtha, gasoline, diesel

fuel, asphalt base, heating oil, kerosene, and liquefied petroleum gas.

ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING

I have studied one course on the Environmental Engineering. This is the major subject for Environmental

Engineering in the professional field. I have studies in this subject about Environmental Monitoring

(Sampling and monitoring program, Design and types of sample) of air water and soil, Pollution concept

(Types of pollution and control techniques of air water and soil), and Principle and purposes of EIA

(Environmental Impact Assessment) its methods and techniques for impact predictions and evaluation.

Environmental engineering principles protect human health and welfare and minimize the adverse effects

of human activities on the environment. Environmental engineering involves” Providing safe, palatable

and ample water supplies.

NOVEL SEPARATION

I have studied one course semester on the Novel separation Processes. This is the major subject of

Chemical Engineering in the professional field. I have studied in this subject about general theory of

multistage separation based upon equilibrium and rate processes, Mass transfer processes through

membrane (using Osmosis, Reverse Osmosis, electro dialysis etc), Chromatographic separation

technology and its application to chemical and biochemical separation.

Gas separation membranes are most widely used in industry for:

"Hydrogen separation, for example, hydrogen/nitrogen separation in ammonia plants and

hydrogen/hydrocarbon separations in petrochemical applications;

• Separating nitrogen from air;

• CO2 and water removal from natural gas;

• Organic vapor removal from air or nitrogen streams.
