I have been in the Radiology field for twenty years and have experience in

diagnostic radiology, five years in pediatric radiology, two years in

computerized tomography, four years in mammography, surgical experience

(OEC), and quality control. Also, I am knowledgeable with the Pac's and

digital systems.

Working in this trauma leveled hospital I have performed digital

imaging on patients in the various diagnostic departments such as

trauma, general, fluoroscopy and portable x-rays on patients to

include the procedures described below.

I have worked with various agencies within these years of my career.

My responsibilities included but were not limited to: position patients

and utilizing the digital imaging equipment, following medical

protocols: instructing patients of all ages regarding a prescribed

medical procedure, also observing patients vital signs during procedures

and following prescribed safety standards in operating radiology

equipment (ex. Collimation and lead aprons). Finally, authorizing the

release of the patient(s) upon completion of a radiological examination and

assisting them to the reception areas.
