Installation & Commissioning of Penex-Isomerization unit:

>Responsible for the installation of the different unit modules.

>Supervising the Pre-Commissioning activities including Acidizing, Pickling, Catalyst & adsorbent

loading & drying out activities.

>Co-ordinate with the third party during installation & commissioning.

>Installation of Honeywell DCS for Isomerization unit.

>Review the procedures, P&ID's & PFD & develop the Standard Operating Manual for Isom Unit .

>Punch listing & carry out equipments test according to the procedures.

>Inventory management & Production & supply Planning.

>Monitoring, Reviews and approves the process parameter adjustments to maximize yield, meet

production plans, plant reliability and profitability based on process performance and laboratory results.

>Monitor & Develop technical reports for the operations procedure.

>Process Troubleshooting & abnormalities/emergency handling.

>Monitoring and evaluating the performance of various process equipments like Heat Exchangers,

Condensers, Pumps, Turbines, Compressors, Furnaces, Cooling Towers, Deaerator, and Boilers.

>Assist in developing plant control philosophy & Team management.

>Ensure standard operating strategies are developed to support the safe execution of production work

>Hydrocarbon Loss Prevention in normal operation as well as in shutdown/start-up activities

>Calculate plant recoveries and utility requirements. Recommend Guarantee Levels.

>Implementation and follow up of HSE regulations ( Work to Permit System, HAZARD Identification,

Incidents Notification, HAZOP & RCM etc.

> Develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFD’s) & P&ID’s and Heat and Material Balances.

> Prepare start-up and commissioning procedures for the new modifications and provide assistance in

preparing operating manuals and procedures and apply HSE guidelines to existing and new modifications.

Turn Around 2013& 2014:

Supervised the following activities during these 2 turnarounds:

Installation & Commissioning of dry seal gas & double stage reciprocating compressors.

Distillation Columns internals modifications like trays replacement, lines modifications etc.

Regeneration & catalyst replacement of platforming & hydrotreating units.

Tie in connections for new project(isomerisation).

Heat exchangers & vessels cleaning & inspection.

Flare system Modifications.

Soot blowers installation & commissioning in furnaces
