Projects

• Bicycle Design

Assembly design consists of detailed design of each part like tires, tire cover, handle, seat,

chain, pedal, chain cover, brakes, stand etc. Each part made with proper dimension and

detailed 2D drawing.

Software used: CATIA (v 5, R 19)

Features used: Part design (Extrude, Slot, Rib, Chamfer, Mirror, etc.), free style curve

design, Wireframe mode design, Assembly design, Kinematic simulation.

• Effect of mass fraction of fly ash (8% wt.) on pure Aluminium

Pure aluminium is mixed with 8% (by weight) of ash. This composite increases the

mechanical properties of aluminium which are shown by various tests.

Machines used: Universal Testing Machine, Sieve Shaker, Oil Furnace.

Tests: Tensile strength Test, Composition Test, Impact Test, Microstructure Test.

• Certification course on CATIA at Cetpa InfoTech Pvt. Ltd., Lucknow from 27 June, 2011 to 24

July, 2011.
