SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS:
As an Electronic Test Technician I was responsible for maintaining, servicing, debugging and
troubleshooting (to component level), repairing, refurbishing, building, modifying, testing, and
programming all manner of electronic devices in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications,
schematics, and engineering drawings. I worked closely with customers and engineers to resolve
issues and find solutions. I was also tasked with maintaining exemplary standards through
compliance with ISO9000, Lean initiatives and 5S concepts.
As an Electronic Test Technician my specific duties included, but were not limited to:
• Conducting ATPs (Test Procedures) using STEs (Specialized Test Equipment) and
GPETE (General Purpose Electronic Test Equipment) including programming and
software upgrades
• Functional Card level tests and repairs / modifications / upgrades
• Testing SRUs (Shop Repairable Units) and LRUs (Line Repairable Units) to CCA level
• Installing and monitoring ESS and Vibration testing (Environmental Stress Screening)
• Debugging to component level and proving proficient in the use of schematic and
engineering drawings and following proscribed company policies and procedures
• Debugging failures during ESS conditions (aka Temperature Cycling)
• Conducting Root Cause and Failure Analysis
• Operating and proving proficient with all types of GPETE (General Purpose Electronic
Test Equipment): DVMs, Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, Signal Generators, Power
Supplies, Frequency Counters, etc.
• Performing Card and System level testing and QA functions including all documentation
and record keeping
• Being self -motivated with minimal supervision
• Training junior personal and working closely with Engineers and Customers
