Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing all tools and equipment required for well operations. Maintain accurate

records of tubulars run in the hole including pipe tally, full BHA/completion components and

critical fishing dimensions e.g. ID/OD and connections.

Carry out daily checks as required (e.g. Koomey Unit and BOP status checks).

Assist with maintenance, repair or replacement tasks in accordance with Company's Planned

Preventative Maintenance System.

Direct the personnel under their authority in the practical steps to ensure that all working places

are maintained in a clean, tidy and safe condition and all working practices employed are safe.

Ensure all crewmembers are capable of performing their respective duties within the

parameters of company policies.

Monitor and maintain drilling fluid circulation system, fluid lines, shale shakers and trip tanks.

Supervise the monitoring of drilling fluids and mud testing.

Understand and maintain B.O.P. system, check reservoir fluid and accumulator bottle pressure.

Responsible for the supervision of personnel engaged in activities in their area of responsibility

or for which they have been allocated responsibility by their supervisor.

Stand-in for alternative work discipline as required.

Ensure that planned safety inspections and audits on the installation are carried out in

accordance with SAIPEM Drilling Safety Policy by themselves and those under their authority.

Provide adequate supervision for all employees (directly supervised) and ensure that all

personnel under their authority properly use and care for their personal protective equipment.

Ensure that all equipment under their control is maintained at all times in a safe condition or is

otherwise completely withdrawn from service.

Bring to the immediate notice of their supervisor actual and potential hazards to safety,

health,plant and equipment which come to their attention in the course of their work, to warn

crew of the hazard and take such action as to minimise the risk

Communicate with personnel to develop their skills and motivation for their current position

and next promotional position.

• Actively participate in DDSPL behavior based safety programs and as a supervisor of a crew encourage

participation.

Ensure that all personnel are aware of the training requirements laid out by DDSPL in

accordance with the training matrix.

• Monitor crew personnel to ensure adherence to all HSE related policies and procedures.

• Immediately report any incidents, accidents, near misses, unsafe act, activity, or condition to

the Driller and take corrective actions.

• Carry out the DROPs inspection of Derrick on the regular basis.

• Documentation of IWCF drilling report, drilling logs, well control data sheets and other

records required by the Company and/or client.

Special Duties

• Report any safety hazards to his immediate superior

• Ensure all orders received verbally or in writing are fully understood and adhered to at all time;

• Participate in all safety drills and safety meetings held onboard

• Be familiar with all the relevant work and safety procedures issued by Saipem AS and by the

Operator and promote the implementation of same

• Be familiar with the alarm instructions/”Station Bill” and accordingly know his lifeboat

position and all other applicable duties during safety drills and in an emergency situation

• Carry out his duties according to the Emergency and Contingency Manual when needed

• Be safely conscious in all his work and behaviour and use compulsory protective equipment
