Senior Project Engineer: Contracted by Lincoln to design AC electric motors for industrial

applications and to review and organize their test lab.

• Developed design spreadsheet that eliminated 5 separate design programs and developed a

large database which was capable locating designs and entering/storing new designs

• Reviewed and organized data on existing motor lines to provide UL certification

• Lead efforts to successfully reorganize test laboratory and earned a national certification

leading to new contracts as an independent test facility

Crane Lear Romec, Elyria, Ohio 1979 -1995

Engineering Section Manager: Reported directly to the Vice President of this globally recognized

manufacturer of AC/DC motor driven aircraft pumps. Responsible for electric products and

components.

• Achieved over 30% reduction in cost and 20% in size/weight of the DC PM motor line by

completely redesigning the motor to maximize efficiency and reduce parts.
