BACKGROUND SUMMARY

Over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry as a Geologic

Technician/Operations Geologist. Expertise with oil and gas databases,

mapping software, logging operations, prospect/development drilling

locations, pad designs, well log analysis, seismic data loading and lease

data.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

GASCO ENERGY, Englewood, Colorado

2002-2014

Operations Geologist/Senior Geoscience Technician

o Manage and built all of Gasco's oil and gas projects used for

exploration and production efforts in the Uinta Basin, Green River

Basin, Nevada Antelope Valley and San Joaquin Basin with Geographix's

Discovery suite including GeoAtlas, Xsec, PRIZM, Zone Manager, Query

Builder, LeaseMap, WellBase and Seisvision.

o Create geologic and geophysical displays including structural, gross

pay, net sand, net pay, interval, time structure, depth structure,

digital and raster cross-sections (with Prizm templates) and lease

ownership.

o Import LAS, depth register/non register raster logs, 2D, 3D seismic and

shot point surveys.

o Perform log analysis and build specific log templates used by

Completion Engineers for frac stages and completion design. This

includes Tgas, Rw, Sw, BVW, Neu/Den/Gr cutoffs, play flags and shale

fracture data.

o Manage geologic drilling operations up to four wells at a time from

surface to TD. This included daily drilling reports, mud logs and

communication with Drilling Foreman (company man). Responsible for

logging operations and on call 24/7 while well is being logged and

communicating with Logging Engineers. Download all log data once

logging completed and provide Completion Engineers and Drilling Foreman

petrophysical evaluation for completion and cement design.

o Start the geological permitting process and the Geological Prognosis.

Locate new drilling locations/offsets and make recommendations to

Geological Manager including Pad and BHL's layouts with drainage

ellipse.

o Proficient with IHS, Excel and Access to manage and format well data

(historical and production) including deviated and horizontal surveys

for import into GESX WellBase or ZoneManager. Also use Access and Excel

to prepare land data for import into LeaseMap. Import/Export various

image formats and spatial data into GeoAtlas.

o Create EUR maps based on individual zones or full well bore using

production data and decline curves.

o Create BTU, BHT and Geothermal gradient maps for basin wide regional

analysis.

o Provide backup IT support including new computer setup, software and

hardware installation (workstation and network), software

troubleshooting, and software/hardware purchases.

o Create/update corporate presentations using PowerPoint.

o Use Global Mapper for coordinate conversions and rectifying images.

CMS OIL AND GAS, Denver, Colorado 1999-2002

Senior Geoscience Tech/Database Manager

o Managed all oil and gas data used for exploration and production

efforts in the Powder River, Green River/Sandwash, Piceance/Uinta, and

San Juan basins.

o Created geologic displays using Geographix Explorer, GES97, Map Info

and AutoCad Map. Included structural, isopach, digital, and raster

cross-sections, lease ownership, and thematic mapping.

o Developed import/export routine for leases to load into Geographix's

LeaseMap module and query-specific land entities.

o Worked with Business Development Group to identify new opportunities

throughout the Rocky Mountain Basins.

o Provided geologists, geophysicists, engineers, landman and senior

management with all computer graphic displays using Geographix,

PowerPoint, Premier and custom built Access programs.

o Created and managed Geographix projects to be utilized by team members.

o Calculated gross and net pay from logs, parameters dependent on geologic

setting.

Kansas from structure, isopach, and paleo-reconstruction mapping.

o Reviewed prospects from other companies with senior geologists and

assisted in recommendations.

Senior Geoscience Technical Specialist (GTS)

o Provided all maps and displays needed for prospect identification and

regional studies. Software used includes Datavision (Amoco developed,

Arc-Info platform), Z-Map, SQL, Oracle, and Access.

o Managed digital well log database for Anadarko Basin, log analysis,

format conversions, file transfer (ftp), digitizing, and use of outside

vendors. Software used included Geoquest, StatLog II and Petcom.

o Multiple platform environment including UNIX, Mainframe, and Win95/NT.

o Computer and manual construction of stratigraphic and structural cross-

sections.

o Prospect evaluation and well recommendation for secondary drilling

targets.
