Skills

•Enjoy working long irregular hours, second and/or third shifts, overtime, weekends, evenings, and holidays.

•Have worked two years in warehousing, storekeeping, and some clerical duties at Juniper Branch Library.

•Can load/unload trucks, move material within the facility and from the loading platform by carrying, pushing, rolling or operating hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, motorized conveyors, or other material handling equipment.

•Able to safely operate forklifts and other machinery in order to complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, staging, and transporting products as assigned.

•Can unload, sort, stage, transport merchandise, and deliver it to the proper location.

•Able to operate a two way radio to communicate with customers, partners, and branch personnel.

•Have strong navigation and communication skills with customers and employees to work effectively in a team environment.

•Can perform clerical duties such as word, excel, scanning, copying and faxing documents, and filing.

•Ability to multi-task and perform duties as assigned with minimal or under supervision.

•Be organized, detailed, and able to prioritize and complete projects individually on my own or with the help of other fellow employees.

•Moving up to 145 pounds of equipment bending or stooping repeatedly over the course of an entire shift.

•Can move engine blocks and other heavy equipment with moving aids designed to move such items including hand trucks, dollies, motorized carts, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
