. Structural health monitoring using wireless sensor networks: The

health of buildings is monitored with the help of accelerometer,

piezo plate and IR sensors and the data are acquired and

transmitted wirelessly using a wireless sensor network. Under

dangerous condition, an alarm will be triggered so as to save the

lives of the people and a log of the status of the building is

maintained for future use.

. Pollution detection robot with GPS tracking: A line follower robot

was made with a pollution sensor. When a high pollution is

detected, the robot stops moving and gives an alarm and also it

sends an SMS to the control room. The location of the robot can be

monitored online using GPS.

. Simple home automation system: An automation system for

controlling light, fan/AC and motor at houses and offices.
