Project Name: Center Automation System

Description

This project was built to handle data of enquiry, application, Admission of

students. Maintain Fees records, Marks of Examination etc. There are the

facilities for calculating the weightage of students according to their

marks of previous exams and aptitude test, interviews and show the list of

selected candidate. The other reports are on students details, fees

details, due details, mark sheet of a student, class marks, weekly &

monthly reports of fees etc.

Role : Designed & developed system fully.

Software Platform : VB 6.0 with ORACLE 8.

II

Project Name: Resume Management System

Description:

This project was an in house project required by the company to manage the

huge number of resumes that the company had received over a period.

The main purpose of the project was to create an intelligent search

capability for finding resumes for requirements based on skill sets and

experience. The formats of the files could be of any type ranging from doc

to txt, which needed to be stored in the database, and viewed through a

common editor through a file converter. Depending on requirements the

system also had to include automatic e-mailing facilities. A parsing

algorithm was initially thought and worked on to scan the data from these

files to the database but was not completed due to lack of time.
