The ICD-10 is the international standard diagnostic classification for all

general epidemiological, many health management purposes and clinical use.

It is used to classify diseases and other health problems recorded on many

types of health and vital records including death certificates and health

records. MT Merger is complete integration of new functionalities, rules

and enhancements to the existing Bluechip functionalities specific to MT.

The major applications worked while integration are:

EEP: This system is the key for the Eligibility validation and claim

processing. This implementation was done using EJB 2, MDB, Spring 2, Spring

Dao, IBM MQ, JRules, DB2, and Mainframes

CLAIM LOCK: This system consist of two different components one is GUI for

creating locks based on different criteria and CORE which is responsible

for caching the locks and real-time locking of the matched claims. These

applications are developed using Spring 2, Hibernate, MDBs, IBM J2C, WAS

6/7, IBM MQ,

Claims Front End: This is one of the crucial applications in BCBS IL for

the claim processing. This is used to validate the real-time claims, Claim

auto correction and validation etc. This system has three individual sub

systems named CFE UI, CFE CORE and CFE-WTX. These systems are developed

with Spring 3, Hibernate 3, AJAX, JAX-WS with Axis 2, JAX-RS 2.0, Spring

MVC, WAS 6/7, IBM MQ with MDB
