PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE.

1. KERALA STATE ELECTRICITY BOARD (K S E B).

> Operation and maintenance of HV and MV substations and distribution

system.

> Knowledge and experience in operation and maintenance of Switch gear,

Power Transformer, Circuit Breakers, CT's, PT's, cables, Relays,

Lightning Arrestor, Isolator, Earthling Switch and Station Batteries,

Battery charger.

> Testing of power system equipment's like transformer, switchgear,

relays, instrument transformers, bus bar, cables and auxiliary

> Good knowledge and understanding of SLD, schematic, wiring diagrams,

system study, network analysis and control &protection of Transformer,

> Experience in installation procedure of transformer, switchgears,

control & protection panels and termination of HV&LV cables.

> Testing and commissioning of power transformers, Switchgears, CT, PT,

Circuit Breaker, XLPE cables, HV and LV motors and auxiliary systems.

> Good knowledge of understanding SLD, Schematics, wiring diagram and

method of isolation procedures to follow isolation, grounding

procedures, both electrical and mechanical interlock schemes.

> Good knowledge of power system protection like transformer

differential(87T),REF, overcurrent and earth fault(50/51/50N/51N),line

distance &differential(21D,87L),breaker protections, motor

protections.

> Familiar with test equipment such as transformer turns ratio(TTR

310),Transformer Ohmmeter, oil tester(OTS 100 AF/2),Freja300(relay

kit), CT analyzer(ISA T2000),Primary injection kit(CPC 100),Secondary

injection kit(FREJA 300),Breaker analyzer(TM1600,CBA1000), megger, Hi-

pot kit(BIDDLE Instruments160 KV), digital and analog multiimeters,

ground resistance tester, Contact resistance test (T &R DSM-600).

> Guide supervisors and workmen for the specific requirement of the

project in terms of specifications, standards, Quality requirements,

work methods etc as per the standard specification.

> Read and interpret cable specifications and electrical/layout

drawings.

> Knowledge of HSE requirements in a live substation and oil and gas

industry and IEC/IEEE standards of substation equipment's.

3. JAL INTERNATIONAL, SAUDI ARABIA.

> Experience in maintenance and Testing of various Transmission and

Distribution substation equipments such as Power transformer, Power

circuit breakers, Disconnect switches, ground switches, Bus bars, PT

and CT, Batteries and battery chargers, lighting circuits.

> Good knowledge of understanding SLD, Schematics, wiring diagram,

protection and control system, system study and network analysis.

> Good knowledge of transformer testing, CT&PT testing, switchgear

testing, primary injection, secondary injection, cable & bus bar

testing and meggering of power and control circuits.

> Working with energized high voltage systems requiring skill and care

to protect the lives of themselves and other substation personnel.

> Interpret power dispatching diagrams as well as different types of

drawings.

> Supervise substation maintenance crew and contract personnel to

ensure compliance of safety regulations.

> Use test equipment such as transformer turns ratio kit, Transformer

Ohmmeter, oil tester kit, CT analyzer, Primary injection kit,

Secondary injection kit, Breaker analyzer, megger, Hi-pot kit, ground

resistance tester, Contact resistance tester, phase angle meter, line

voltage sensor, multi-meters and clamp-meters.

> Comply with Health, Safety and Environment as well as work permits and

procedures.

> Knowledge of Power system protection like O/C, E/F, Distance, REF and

Differential.

> Testing of ALSTOM make P142 and SIEMENS make 7SJ61 O/C and E/F relays

using FREJA 300 3Phase relay test kit.
