Role:

Working as Assistant Cinema Manager with Big Cinemas, Palam Vihar property, which is second-in-

command position and is solely responsible for the smooth cinema operations, sales promotions,

collaborations, etc? Over-all in charge of important functions like Facilities, Maintenance, Accounts,

Housekeeping, Projection, Administration, Marketing, Training and Development, Security and Operations

on the top.

In my previous assignment with the company, worked as an Assistant Manager with the Special Operation

Group which is a special task force being created for business development – both organic, as well as in-

organic. The department manages everything from the start of the project, till it is handed over of the

operations.

Responsibilitie held:

Operations

• Entire cash management.

• Controlling overall working cost and F&B cost and maximizing net profit.

• Planning and controlling manpower planning according to the business.

• Optimum utilizing of the resources both organic and in organic.

• Setting targets and objectives of operations so that to achieve the bench mark and standard given by

the company and over above that as well.

• Making sure that the Standard operating procedures are religiously followed.

• Leading the team of all the executives and their respective teams for a smooth run of operations.

• Minimizing the risk of any terror activity by the optimum use of DFMD, HFMD, thorough frisking

Liaison

taking a proper audit of the same.

HR and Administration

• Recruitment of cinema staff.

• Making contracts for security, housekeeping and other services in the best interest of the company.

Facility and Housekeeping

• Taking regular Quality checks of the property to ensure Quality standards.

• Constant monitoring of HK equipments and chemicals, their purchase, setup and checking the quality

standards.

• Keeping a close follow-up, post set-up of the property and suggest amendments, if required.

• Facilitate the smooth functioning of HK departments, and inter-departmental co-ordination.

• Vendor Management and close supervision in renewing contracts and their bill payments.

Audit

• Giving a proper and regular audit to the corporate office on the company assets to avoid any pilferage

and theft.

• Routine quality checks of the property to ensure quality standards.

Food and Beverage

• Planning cinema food-court menu by conducting regular surveys and feedback from the customers.

• Constant monitoring of F&B sale, purchase, setup and checking the quality standards.

Sales

Space selling
