Project Controls Specialist (Planning/Cost) with vast experience working on

medium/large scale projects with the ability to interface and coordinate

with all levels of management .I have extensive expertise using Primavera,

MS Project/Excel, SAP to perform scheduling/planning, forecasting, cost

control, earned value management and critical path analysis both on

program/portfolio and project specific levels.

Pre-FEED, FEED, Detailed Design, Procurement, Material/Equipment delivery

Line 3 (Line 93) Design, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction -

REPLACEMENT & DECOMISSIONING

*Facilitate a multi-company interactive planning session which serves as

the basis for developing the detailed resource loaded project schedule with

all major milestones to be tracked through the project lifecycle

*With Board of Directors (BOD) sanctioned pre-determined In Service Date

(ISD) for pipeline operation, all permits, approvals required by the Energy

board, Federal/ Local governments and appropriate authorities are scheduled

backwards to determine when the applications should be put in to meet both

engineering and construction access and execution plans

*Project schedule is developed in Primavera to gain alignment with

estimated scope of work, produce Earned Value and progress reports.

* Obtain input from project team/Stakeholders to update schedule progress

* Stakeholders include - Engineering, SCM, Law and Regulatory, Environment,

Lands, Aboriginal Affairs and Construction.

*Primary focus was to build a schedule that required all major stakeholders

to have permits in place to meet construction deadlines

*Actively monitor and track project change requests and report on cost

deviations and trends as loaded in the approved baseline of the project

schedule

*Coordinate with cost control in reporting of project Budgets, Commitments,

actual Expenditures and Forecasts.

*Coordinate with cost control with preparation of budgets and ensures

timely issuance of project Cost Reports including client and contractor

cost reports.

*Update and track manpower and man-hour reports including third party

service contractors.

*Assists Accounting with monthly invoice preparation and issuance for

reimbursement and payment of costs.

*Perform earn value recognition efforts for the project related to man-

hours and expenditures.

*Support the weekly and monthly internal and external reporting efforts by

ensuring and providing key performance project cost and man-hour data.

*Lead in efforts to identify and process project changes and variations of

budgets and schedules.

Research and explain variances and report this information monthly or as

needed.

* Track engineering deliverables to have MR, s ready for SCM to issue PO's

for pipes and valves which has to be manufactured and delivered to

stockpile site 90 days before the start of construction.

*Provide timely analysis and reporting to support the project team and

evaluate schedule alternatives to support project changes support project

metrics

* Setup and coordinate planning sessions/ meetings with major stakeholders

(Law, Regulatory, Land, Environment, etc.) to make sure all major

milestones are met and permits are secured in time for any major planned

task.

*Track all permits needed for engineering and construction execution and

update stakeholders on any unforeseen issue that may arise

* Prepare project data/information for input into (MPR's) monthly project

reporting and financial planning cycle.

* Prepare and maintain work schedules including equipment/contractor

optimization plans to meet regulatory and company deadlines

*Participate in Interactive planning (IAP) session, which serve as basis

for schedule development using program/project templates; I created a

detailed resources loaded engineering/procurement schedule.

*Rules of credit was implemented as the basis for progressing/tracking the

schedule and also used to compare the baseline to the current schedule.

*Logically link data sets as appropriate to show cause and effect on the

overall program.

*Gather, correlate, analyze, and maintain data sets from individual

projects schedules; incorporate critical dates into a common platform

(Primavera-P6).

*Due to the dynamic nature of the program, and to asses' impact on

schedule, I made sure schedule change notifications were created for every

major change to schedule/logic and signed off by disciplines as part of

contract requirements and stored in a schedule change log for

quality/change management purposes while constantly mainintaing

communication with the client to provide adequate and required information

for all engineering work packages.

*Supervise, review and evaluate schedule durations for all disciplines to

support project milestones;

*Plan, organize and supervise schedule resource loading and levelling as

well as project cost budgets;

*Assist discipline in formatting reports to be provided for schedule

updates and progressing.

while also providing comments and recommendations for planning and

*Using steps and rules of credit - created a detailed engineering and

procurement schedule as part of the overall program to actively

track/monitor/progress/forecast and run estimate at completion analysis for

the project with the purpose of this initial phase is to exploit the sweet

gas reservoir of the Dragon field with eight (8) subsea wells that will be

connected in a daisy-chain configuration to a platform. In addition, the

platform will process a future sour gas reservoir of the Patao field with

eight (8) wells that also will be connected in a daisy-chain configuration

to a platform.

*Prepared monthly project progress summary reports that included the

updated schedules utilizing P6 and prepared/analyzed schedule reports and

schedule variance for the Project

*Provided earned value reporting and change management Measured progress

plan with the Earned Value Technique.

Mexico), (BP, $120M Isabela Gas Lift Umbilical for Galapagos Subsea

Development Project, Gulf of Mexico)

*Created a detailed Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) schedule using P6

for the JSM subsea boosting project in the walker ridge area of GOM. The

Jack field will have at least 4 wells tied back to the Floating Production

System (FPS) with dual production flow lines and the St. Malo field will

have 6 wells tied back to the FPS with dual production flow lines. Monitor

schedule based on MDL and BOM's and monitor materials procured for projects

through SAP and also update schedule based on that information.

*Tracked engineering documents/drawings progress workflow from

Start/IDC/Issue for Client Reviewed/IFC and also created and tracked

activity networks/charge codes for all subsea product.

* Created and maintained stand alone projects and also assisted other

planners on various projects by creating project WBS in SAP Project Builder

to track cost and monitor progress.

* Actively involved throughout the life of the study which ended around

March 2010.

* Developed and maintained a resource loaded project schedule/baseline to

include Engineering, Procurement and fabrication/Manufacturing for the

subsea tie back project from the Isabela drill center in Mississippi

canyon, GOM. The flow assurance study lift gas is required to be injected

at the riser base to prevent slugging in the riser during production. The

riser based gas lift system is designed to facilitate the gas lift

injection and it comprises of Gas Lift inline sled and its connections, Gas

lift Umbilical System, Gas Lift Control system and Top side System.

* Produced monthly reports to show project progress, tracked MDL to update

schedule. Maintained and tracked fabrication/manufacturing activities to

meet installation.

*Developed and resource load a major execution plan schedule to drive

fabrication/construction of a major Statoil project to refurbish and a

build a new rig for the Peregrino field which is located 85 km offshore

Brazil.

* The schedule was well detailed and it included Engineering,

Procurement/Manufacturing/Mechanical Completion/Commissioning/Disassemble

and Load-Out and Sail Away phase.

*I served as the project scheduling liaison between multiple contractors

(Mustang Engineering, Gusto and Kiewit offshore services) which had the

location where the rig was been fabricated and built.

* I created a man power loading curve indexed to contractor and resource
