Through all new healthcare reform guidelines, have managed a private family medicine practice

since 9/1987. In that time, I have had many experiences, with knowledge of patient care, billing,

as well as administrative duties. Each day is a new experience with every aspect of primary care

healthcare.

During this time, while looking for a full time position, I worked part time as a medical asst with

direct patient care and part time at the front des k upon check in.

Awards and Acknowledgments

In the many years I have worked in the medical field, I have learned many aspects of running

a practice thru direct patient care. As a managerial role, I have attained MU I and MU II,

PQRS, Completed numerous HEDIS audits, have knowledge of HQM and Health

Maintenance guidelines. At the present time, I am completing PCMH. I have also had

experience with direct patient care from obtaining vitals, triage and interview patients, perform

venipuncture (regular and butterfly) immunizations, EKG, Spirometer, nebulizers, and removal

impacted cerumen.

Volunteer

I have volunteered for many different organizations. I am the mom of one son, who played

ice hockey. I was the "Team Manager" for his team. He played from age 4 to 18. I arranged

all team functions, tournaments, and activities, as well as participating in the keeping of score,

assignment of parent duties, and arranging fund raisers.

I have also volunteered with Greyhound and dog rescue. Transporting retired g reyhounds to

the rescue groups. I also did home inspections for those attempting to adopt. At this time, I

also volunteered for a Yahoo group on dog transport. I picked up 5 -6 dogs and transported to

no-kill shelters in New York. I have also fostered dogs until they found forever homes.

I previously sold Pampered Chef as an independent kitchen consultant. I loved doing this as

it gave me the opportunity to be creative with recipes and presentation. I had to resign this

when I became involved in my son's Ice Hockey.

Hobbies/activities

My true love is being creative. I have tried almost every type of art/crafting there is, and have

loved all of them. I love to learn and to teach what I have learned. I love to read, play games,

children, animals, and love to keep busy.
