Engineer/Supervisor

• Set up and operated metering pumps that extrude and form filaments from synthetic

materials such as rubber, or liquid polymers

• Installed dies, machine screws, and sizing rings on machines that extruded thermoplastic

or rubber materials

• Received advancement up to Process Engineer to help reduce scrap and increase

productivity; also processed control, die design development

• Developed rubber extrusion profiles to meet customer specifications

• Supervised Extrusion Department with 18+ union employees determine production

requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs by daily and

weekly scheduling worked with Materials group to maintain components and materials to

meet such requirements
