. The students under my remit are all sponsored by the Saudi Arabian

Ministry of Education.

. I am the first point of contact for students and provide assistance in

helping them learn how to make practical academic plans and decisions

based on their stated goals, interests and abilities, how to discover

a range of options available to them in terms of information, advice

and support, and how to think through the consequences of their own

choices, amongst other things.

. I provide accurate information about policies, procedures and

requirements relating to the scholarship scheme and assist students in

understanding the rationale and potential behind them.

. I create positive working relationships with students and staff at the

universities and the Ministry of Education in Saudi Arabia. I report

back to the Ministry of Education on students' progress, as well as

any changes or causes for concern, so that the service the students

receive can be tailor-made to ensure they fulfil their academic

potential and get the most out of their experience in the UK.

. Worked on a database of companies that had previously attended an

international defence exhibition in Dubai.

. Received comprehensive training on the database itself to understand

what it was for, who used it and what other systems it linked to, as

well as its structure and how it organised, found and displayed the

or by calling the companies directly where complete details could not

be obtained online.
