WORK EXPERIENCE: - 7 YEARS AND 08 MONTH

1) Presently I am working as a Safety Officer/ In charge in Shapoorji &

Pallonji Company Private Limited Bangalore since February 2014 till

date( Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd U/G 2 )

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

. Studying the site layout and plan for the logistic including man,

material and vehicle movement for new sites before commencing of work.

. Preparing the site specific EHS plan, Hazard identification,

Preliminary hazard analysis, Risk assessment /job safety analysis and

safe work method statement for all the critical works.

. Inspection of all the plant and machineries before using.

. Induction Training for newly appointed staff, construction workers and

sub contractors.

. Conducting regular Tool Box Talk to workers to address the hazards in

their work place and also conducting the job specific training to

operators, mechanics, electricians, etc...

. Regular inspection of construction activities and notifying the unsafe

actions and unsafe conditions observed and report to the project

incharge and follow-up for rectification.

. Refreshment Training for all the workers and staffs, basic first aid,

basic fire safety, height work, and scaffolding.

. To perform HSE Jobs in accordance with the rules and procedures of

client.

. As per the requirement of the client preparing the weekly, monthly and

yearly EHS report and submit to client.

. Maintaining of First Aid centre at construction sites.

. Forming and conducting Safety Committee Meeting at sites.

. Conducting monthly safety audit at site and finding out the

improvements and any snag.

. Investigation of Incidents/Accidents and finding out the root cause

for the same.

. Improve corporate image by demonstrating commitment to Health, Safety

and Environment issues.

. Maintaining stock of personal protective equipments, intending for new

procurement, checking the quality of supplied material.

. Elimination of incident/implement safety systems in work place.

. Co-ordinate with GM for emergency evacuation plans, mock drills and

. Developing the PPE matrix and coordinating with sections on adequate

implementation & usage.

. Update BPD, SOT, Team boards in time.

. Implement and monitor modern safety practices and systems such as

OSHA and NEBOSH.

. Participate in HSRB, CSRB review meetings.

. Co-ordinate licensing activities for driving MHE's.

. Check the safe condition of all equipment's.

. MIS submission and safety data management.

. Developing and implement SOP, JSA, Risk Assessment for all activities.

. Identifying unsafe conditions & unsafe acts and taking corrective &

preventive action.

. Developing & updating work instructions, check lists and other safety

procedures.

. Accidents / Incidents investigation, identifying CAPA, follow up and

closure.

. Coordinating safety functions, inspections, audits and surveys
