. Also help to stain ihc slides as needed. Also cut frozen section

as needed. Develops, validates, and performs new technologies

expenditures, preparation of budgets, and monitoring quality

control in a GLP environment. Performance of departmental qulity

histopathology techniques, departmental SOP generation and

maintenance functions.

. Archiving, shipping and receiving of pathology specimens,

ordering and maintenance of histopathology supplies.

. Mentorship and training of junior staff, oversight and

maintenance of histology metrics. Perform or oversee

multispecies necropsies, including prosection, as assigned in

conformance with GLP and non-GLP study requirements and industry

standards.

. Maintains knowledge of current histopathologic techniques by

attending meetings, in service training, workshops, journals,

seminars and self-study.
