WORK EXPERIENCE

2014-2015 – Community Living Ontario

I obtained interpersonal experience as a caretaker of children with disabilities by catering

to their unique needs through means of friendship, entertainment, and supervision.

2013-2015 – Secretarial Assistant

As a secretarial assistant I was responsible for completing various organizational tasks

including, but not limited to, photocopying, shredding, filing and organizing documents.

2012 - Co-op

During my co-op placement I was employed in a chiropractor’s office and was

responsible for a variety of tasks including customer service relations, and insuring that

the workspace remained clean and well-organized

2010 – Laborer for Marc Bourada

As a laborer I was responsible for the preparation of the job-site prior to the actual

construction, this included the disposal of old driveway stones. I also assisted my

teammates in the cleanup of the completed job-site and was accountable for maintaining

the cleanliness of the job-site to prevent injury and maximize safety.

2008 – Newspaper Delivery Person for The Pennsyaver

My time as a Newspaper Delivery Person caused me to develop valuable time

management skills, as it was my responsibility to ensure that all deliveries were

completed in an organization and timely fashion.

2005 – Present – Child Care Provider

As a childcare provider I was able to act as a positive role model for young children. My

duty to ensure that the children under my care were properly fed, entertained, and put to

sleep, allowed me to become proficient in time management and conflict resolution.

VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE

2010 – 2011 - Assistant Hockey Coach, Nepean Boys Hockey Association

As the assistant coach I was awarded the opportunity to mentor the players and add in the

development of their skills. I was able to teach them teamwork, while simultaneously

learning how to patiently cater to the individual learning style of each team member.

2003-2011 - Altar Server, St. Maurice Church

My duties as an altar server included assisting the priest during mass and preparing the

altar prior to the service, in accordance with the specific guidelines outlines in the church

doctrine. This caused me to become detail oriented, in addition to my awareness of the

larger perspective of the overall situation.

2009-2010 - Camp Councillor, St Maurice Church

As a camp councillor I was responsible for the supervision of the children and ensuring

that they enjoyed themselves. This improved my conflict resolution skills and granted me

the opportunity to demonstrate my patience skills.
