I am responsible for interpretation and application of drilling programs on daily drilling operations.

Responsible for monitoring chemical properties, performing daily chemical analysis to drilling

fluids also give preventive and corrective treatments. In addition, performing engineering

calculations related to well problems and logistic planning for future operations, ran software

simulations to give technical advice to the client of potential well problems like loss of circulation,

hole cleaning problems, etc. Give recommendations on good drilling practices, stuck pipe, well

control (invasive fluids) and hydraulics calculations. To perform duties requires the use of MI

SWACO software. Also performed as a Workover Fluid Engineer with experience on filtration and

displacement procedures.

I worked for multiple operators during my time with MI SWACO, and I have encountered problems

such as: loss of circulation partial and total, well control related problems, high pressure wells,

high temperature wells, water influx, tight hole, formation wash outs, underbalace drilling, high

angle hole cleaning problems, reactive and gumbo shales, H2S Contamination, Lime

contamination, Completion fluids contamination.

order chemical products according to drilling operation and drilling phases as well coordinate with

warehouse for the logistics of the products, equipments and vehicles.
