mainlyBlack/Hispanic low income neighborhood.

1981-1985: Association of Neighborhood Health Clinics Boston. I worked in low income clinics in and black

populations. I had formed and run a Teen pregnancy program at Martha Eliot Health Center in Jamaica Plain, .

1985-1988 : Seattle Children’s Home /Fairfax Hospital. Children’s inpatient psychiatric clinic

1988=-2000 King County Jail;: Correctional health in both medical and psychiatric settings

1990-2000 Healthcare for the homeless: I worked at both the Downtown Emergency Shelter and the St.

Martin de Porres Shelter for men aged 55 or over.

1990-present Medically intensive home health, various agencies, currently Maxim. I have done this

type of work intermittently throughout my career

2006-present Nurse Delegation State of Washington: . I currently am a nurse delegator for the State of

Washington . I delegate tasks to qualified care -givers to perform tasks normally only licensed nurses

can do. Many of my clients live in Adult Family Homes and are hospice clients.

Interests:

I have been very involved with homelessness and have volunteered with the ROOTS young adult

shelter in the University District Seattle for 8 years.I am a lso very involved with conservation and am an active weekly

volunteer at Seattle Audubon and have been a volunteer at PAWS working with baby birds in summer. I am one of the

organizers for the Puget Sound Bird Festival I am a big supporter of Seattle Public library and have been volunteering

with the Greenlake Branch for almost 30 year s and have been the Afternoon Book Discussion Group faciliator
