Duties: Responsible for the processing of all administrative paperwork for
the 269 Security Officers that make up the Eastern Division (St. Louis,
Missouri, and Iowa). I am also responsible for verification and processing
of the ICE Form 139s that are used to verify Vision and validate the
invoicing for officer payroll and government invoicing through Vision.
Additional daily office duties include; assisting the St Louis Area
Manager(s) with scheduling, additional service request, quality control
inspection tracking, uniform issue and survey, directing phone calls to the
appropriate manager(s), assisting officers with questions and providing
information to help them resolve any pending issues. I also conduct
payroll research, modifications and verifications on a weekly basis. I
provide human resource and benefits assistance to the area managers and
those officers working in the field. I enter, verify, and change
information in the Vision Labor Management System based on information from
the ICE Form 139s and additional service requirements. In addition I
create reports from Vision Labor Management System to research expenses,
billing information, vacations and suitability verifications. I check,
verify and code all travel and lodging claims for accuracy and provide
weekly status updates to insure prompt payment.
My duties also encompass Assisting scanning, naming, updating and auditing
of the Eastern Division electronic suitability files. Lastly I am
responsible for liaisons between the companies that server our needs,
Staples Office Supplies, ATT Communications, Verizon Communications, and
DataMax. When possible I follow up on projects assigned to area managers
and assist as necessary.
Accomplishments: Eliminated virtually all vacation and pay related issues
in the Eastern Division. Streamlined communication between officers and
corporate which has had a direct impact on a reduction of Union Grievances
filed by UGSOA Local 20. I am an authorized e-verifier account holder and
have played an integral part in reducing Vision errors by conducting weekly
audits on the Vision schedule.

Duties: Responsible for college level recruiting for all of Missouri and
Southern Illinois. Participated in numerous career fairs and conducted on-
campus interviews. I researched and help established scholarships and
contacts with diversity organizations and arranged interviews with several
hiring managers during scheduled site visits to job locations across the
Midwest. I was also responsible for managing the Travel and Recruitment
budget.
Accomplishments: I networked and established long-term relationships at 13
schools new to EDS. My efforts were instrumental in improved hiring levels
and relationships at current EDS schools. I remained within my budget,
consistently maintaining the lowest travel and recruitment budget within
the group.

Duties: Monitored a 3-system mainframe data center with 20 screens.
Started jobs and batch cycles, took tape inventory, ran nighttime Arads
batch cycle every 3 months on a rotating schedule. Worked with the
programmers to determine objectives and troubleshoot systems to provide
desired results. Directed trouble shooting efforts and reported system
problems to IBM. Programmed in mainframe languages such as JCL and COBOL,
and trained in client server languages Visual Basic and some C++.
Accomplishments: I used my programming abilities and expertise while
performing as an operator to decrease down time and increase my ability to
problem solve within the programming group. I improved the timeliness and
efficiency in running batch cycles. I was also solely responsible for
running specific jobs and processing old tapes out of the library and
coordinating the delivery of those tapes to an off-site storage facility.
I also took part in the company's continued education program by taking
several classes for mainframe operation while working as a full time
employee.
