DESCRIPTION:

A) Circuit Switched FallBack (CSFB) are a set of procedures used to

enable Single Radio 1xRTT/LTE (Dual Mode) Terminals to:

B)Attach to the LTE Packet network but continue to be able to receive

1xRTT CDMA Services & Events

C) 1xRTT Register with HLR through the LTE network

D) Receive and Send SMS over LTE through the CDMA SMSC and MSC.

E)Use the LTE network to receive/send the 1xRTT call setup messages to

setup the 1xRTT traffic resources for Voice termination and direct the

mobile to the 1xRTT traffic channel to carry the voice path.

F)Originate a 1xRTT voice call through initial call control signaling on

the LTE network to setup 1xRTT traffic channel resources and then tune

to 1xRTT for the voice path.
