PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Entrust Energy

Contract Project - October 2014 to February 2015

Developed new web application to process new energy customers (ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server, Entity

Framework, AngularJS, UI Grid, UI.Router, Bootstrap) Added features to network marketing website. Set

up in-house hosting of the site with IIS and SQL Server database. Tested credit card processing with

authorize.net web services.

ABS

Contract Project - June, 2014 to Aug, 2014

Architected solutions to resolve usability issues in engineering drawings review workflow. Investigated

several options and selected optimal solutions. Developed WPF applications to markup PDF documents,

create thumbnails, save and apply markups to publish documents. Evaluated off the shelf software

(Bluebeam Revu) and proposed ways to integrate its components into existing infrastructure. Presented

pros and cons of different approaches.

Enterprise Products

Contract Project - Feb, 2014 to Apr, 2014

Worked on the development of new ASP.NET MVC application to manage hydrocarbons pipeline. It made

extensive use of JavaScript libraries like jQuery, KnockoutJS, RequireJS and Kendo UI framework. Entity

Framework and Web APIs were used to access SQL Server database.

ExxonMobil

Contract Project - June, 2012 to Jan, 2014

Worked on the development of next generation of reservoir modeling and simulation software. This

software integrates all the components from geologic data to simulation on high performance clusters in

one package.

Developed user interface to create reservoir cross sections and surfaces connecting deviated wells in 3D.

Projected geologic properties and time dependent simulation results on these surfaces. Analyzed and

displayed simulation data with Python programs.

National Oilwell Varco

Contract Project - Feb, 2012 to May, 2012

Created an industry first, WPF/C# application to use downhole data to automate and control drilling rig

equipment. It acquires real time data from multiple data sources, graphically displays it and operates

drilling equipment based on selected control strategies. I architected this application and coded the entire

graphical user interface in a short time to meet a hard deadline for the client. The application was shown

at Offshore Technology Conference at Houston in May 2012 after successful drilling rig testing.

3M Motor Vehicles Systems

Contract Project - June, 2011 to Jan, 2012

Created use interface for Kentucky Automated Vehicle Information System (KAVIS) with ASP.NET, C#,

SQL Server, AJAX Control Toolkit, jQuery and DevExpress. Created applications to automatically

generate PDF documents and Excel spreadsheets with information from database. Designed database

tables and wrote stored procedures to support user interface and document generating applications.

e-MDs

Contract Project - December, 2009 to June, 2011

Delivered two releases of WPF/C# components for physician’s charts in EHR and Practice Management

Software. Built ASP.NET applications in C# to manage e-MDs web portal that allows patients to access

their medical records and make appointments.

Michael & Susan Dell Foundation

Contract Project - April, 2006 to May, 2009

Web applications for Dell Scholars Program (www.dellscholars.org)

• Developed a suite of web applications to manage the scholarship program from application to

graduation (Scholarship application from high school seniors, Online recommendations, Funding

requests from scholars and administration of the entire program)

• Created a new application to move the application evaluation process online and statistical

algorithm to ensure consistency of evaluations that resulted in saving $80,000 per year

• Replaced database access layer with custom CodeSmith templates and Enterprise Library

• SQL Server database design and stored procedures

• ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, ADO.NET, LINQ to SQL, Telerik controls

• Automated testing with NUnit and Watir

Led a team of 4 programmers to create GUI for Intel NetportExpress Print Servers This product was the

PC Magazine Editor’s Choice (Feb 10, 1998)

IBM

Wrote software to insert entry and exit traces in C functions. Used this program with special IBM

hardware to build a profiler. Created a utility to show function usage and references (similar to features in

later versions of Visual Studio)
