I did the role of IT Services in the department of Processes and IT, assigned to the Vice presidency of Human Resources

Headquarters at CEMEX Mexico. My main role was to give IT and Processes Consulting Services to Human Resources

Headquarters.

• I was in charge of the Communication Office for the Processes and IT department, developing the Monthly Global

Report for the Vice President. I re designed this report reducing drastically (40% less information) the amount of

information and developed strategic information driven report.

• I developed the 2007 Annual Report and the 2008 Business Plan for the Processes and IT department. Negotiated

the reduction of the price to 50% the actual price.

• Developed a Best of Breed Analysis to evaluate vendors for software to create surveys for the Commercial area at

CEMEX.

• AS IS Analysis for developing a tool to recollect sensitive strategic data for the Vice presidency of International

Information Development.

• Processes mapping for the Commercial department at CEMEX achieving a better procedural workflow in such area

(process re engineering).

• Developed a Web Report in the CEMEX Intranet with a web editor and a repository for documents MS SharePoint

and archives in the IT Solutions community intranet.

• Implementation of an Enterprise Content Management Repository for Document Digitization (Live link Enterprise

Content Management). Project leader for 2 of the 3 areas of the Project:

o Human Resources Mexico: digitization and administration for Employee Records AS IS Mapping and TO

BE design of the compilation process.

o Human Resources Headquarters: digitization and administration for the Employee Records.

NOTE: We achieved to create an economy of scale in cost and functionality saving a 30% of the original

cost of the project with the software provider (OPEN TEXT).

• Employee Engagement: Information Technology Consultancy for a Worldwide Survey to monitor employee

engagement to CEMEX. I achieved to diminish to 1% the fail to send the mail to every employee recipient in their

mailbox worldwide.

• Project Leader for the development of an online e learning course of the Business Process Methodologies (BPM)

convention to map processes.

• Project Leader in the implementation of a software to evaluate employees on languages (Auralog Spanish provider). I

managed to diminish the percentage of network delays in the online test caused by the worldwide network.

• CEMEX Rewards – Online Statements for employees of CEMEX Central.

2005 May – 2006 July. Axtel ( Department of Financial Planning: OPEX EXPENSES and BUDGET and also working for IT
