The address data is sent as a request to CMR (Client Management Repository) from where the response is received with standardized data. CMR is an integrated system, which stores gold copy of standardized client address data.

From IBDW, the data is carried to ODS and SEC Marts. SECMART has daily SLA to mail the clients on their current positions. The data from ODS passed to I Tracker reports for the agents to view/analyse.

Responsibilities:

MetLife is the number one Insurance provider in USA. MetLife, Inc. operates through its affiliates and subsidiaries as a provider of insurance and other financial services. MetLife has built an Institutional Data Warehouse (IDW) that is loaded on a daily basis from internal and external data sources. This Enterprise Data Warehouse further feeds data at various intervals into various Marts viz. Company Relationship Mart, Dental Mart, Disability Mart, Finance Mart, e-Metrics Mart, Long Term Care Mart and Life Mart.

The IDW/Data Marts provide critical information for business analytic and decision-making purpose. IDW receives data in the form of flat files, which are transformed and loaded into warehouse using Informatica as an ETL tool. Business users use this information for their decision-making using COGNOS and ACTUATE reports. IDW/Data Marts are available 24x7 and reside on a distributed hardware across different sites.

The project involves production support activities for the data load process for IDW and current Marts and any other data marts that might be sourced from IDW in future. This project involves the migration of Capital Market Investment Products from FMS2 onto the MUREX application currently being utilized by the Investments department. The transition of CMIP full life cycle administration from FMS2 to MUREX will allow for enhanced functionality and reporting that will address the financial risks that exist today as a result of manual processes in place. This initiative will include an upgrade of the MUREX application to address required FAS52 enhanced calculations and data conversion of existing business from FMS.

The Individual Business Data Warehouse will integrate the information from various data sources into one central repository providing the organization a cross-enterprise consolidated view of the information. The Individual Business Data Warehouse will serve as the primary source for the Data marts. The purpose of this project is to build a data warehouse for Individual Business that will have information that spans several subject areas, including Compliance, Sales, Policy, Product and Party/Organization, MetLife Bank, EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse), LDW (Legacy Data Warehouse).

In IBDW Area we have been monitoring the process of loading the data into the various marts.The IBDW Area contains various Warehouses in it like SALES, MetLife Bank, Compliance, IBDW Annuity, and IBDW Citi-street. We have also been supporting the Enterprise Data Warehouse, which contains two marts one for Annuity, which contains information about the various annuities, and QPS mart, which has all the Information about the Special Qualified Plans that company, holds. We also supported legacy Data warehouse. This warehouse contains data containing the information about various Policies and Premiums.

The Project M – Warranty project is a subset of Project M that deals with the changes that are needed in the Volkswagen warranty process to cater to Minivan claims. The primary objective of this project is to enable the Volkswagen and Chrysler warranty systems to seamlessly communicate with each other. The data is populated on weekly basis from Underlying OLTP applications, using ETL methods (Extraction, Transformation and Loading methods) in Informatica. This ETL job was run on daily and weekly basis to feed data.
